This is normally a sign that versions of libstorage and yast2-storage do not match. Please check if libstorage[34] and yast2-storage are from same repository.

The 10 vs 11 is fine, this are the versions on 12.2 GM, strange.

Could you verify if the files on disk match the content of RPM database by doing:

rpm -V libstorage4 rpm -V yast2-storage

I will check this on my 12.2 test install on Monday

I could reproduce the problem here. It is caused by calling storage related functions while libstorage is not yet initialised. I created a fixed version 2.22.6 of autoyast package which you can download after the repo got synced from

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/fehr/openSUSE_12.2/

It should also be enough to replace attached file storage_auto.ycp with the file in /usr/share/YaST2/clients/storage_auto.ycp
