[opensuse-autoinstall] Download rpms from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories hangs
Dear AutoYaST crew , we have been using AutoYaST for installation of 13.1 from our Distribution-Server since several months In a second step we configure several repositories from download.opensuse.org/repositories such as science , graphics , python ... and then we do a " zypper in " for about 500 rpms . Till end of may this step takes about 1 hour, but after my holidays i'm angry about 3 hours and more , even 7 hours I recognize this long duration only or the 2. Step since last week . In the meantime i did several tests concerning out hardware , network .... Now i configured repositories from other mirrors ( GWDG) and I' m satisfied with the duration of the installation , such as in former weeks. Now my question: what has been changed on your servers http://download.opensuse.org/repositories ??? Best regards . I think you would be better off creating a local mirror of those repositories. I use the below rsync server for this and sync it up nightly. rsync://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/opensuse/repositories/ On 06/26/2014 08:50 AM, m.frerichs wrote:
