RE: [suse-autoinstall] Auto-Update
Do you have any suggestions for a system of this type? No, autoyast is intended for installation only. Anas discip@pjm.com wrote:
While I am familiar with the autoinstall procedures, I thought I had come across something about AutoYast being able to push out new packages to managed hosts. Does anyone have any information about this?

If you just want an update, look at the online_update script, and at the /etc/suseservers file if you want to use a local mirror, or your custom package provider. Raphael
http://www.autorpm.org Autorpm can do such things perfectly. It is much more powerful then YOU. You can update from several ftp servers, local repositories, sync local repositories with ftp servers before installing local packages etc. etc. etc. cu, Frank -- Dipl.-Inform.
