Hi, I am having problems with tg3 and must use bcm5700 with SuSE Pro 9.2, how do I tell autoyast not to use tg3 for install or runtime? @runtime: /etc/modprobe.conf install tg3 /bin/false alias eth0 bcm5700 you can also experiment with the kernel-paramters brokenmodules and insmod. Here: brokenmodules=tg3 insmod=bcm5700, but i never tested this particular configuration, cause i prefer modprobe.conf. The modprobe.conf snipped could be integrated in postinstall, but andreas matthieu provided a much better solution within the profile.xml-File, wich he posted here "on the list". The manpage for modprobe.conf is a very good resource for configuration hacks like this here. regards frank hollmann -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: suse-autoinstall-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands, e-mail: suse-autoinstall-help@suse.com
