I worked arround the not functioning NFS Client in 10.3 installation as follows: When Yast does not find the autoinstall.xml I manually switch to console 2 start: portmap rpc.statd switch back to console 1 and say yes to the question retry?. (reading the autoyast.xml) ->autoinstall works (nearly) perfectly than. Does anybody know how I can add portmap and rpc.statd to the 'prolog' of yast or maybe syslinux makeing the autoinstallation automatic again ? Best Regards F.Mueller Uwe Gansert wrote:

in 10.2 I deploy the autoyast profiles via nfs, this works out of the box. To use it I call autoyast=nfs://.../autoinst.xml If i try it with 10.3 this is not possible.
Is this a bug or a desired feature?
that's a bug. :( I have fixed that already but I did not create a driverupdate so far for 10.3
