How do you specify the reboot before doing second stage?
My second stage is without reboot, so my experience is different:
Hm, my X connection suddenly stops working in System Configuration after installing additional rpms (stuff I need for sssd, but not explicitly selected in <packages>). In fact the machine stops network (unpingable) and on tty10 it says: wicked: device eth0: operation timed out So I think it fails to configure eth0 by DHCP. Since no ttys allow login, I have to send ctrl+alt+del, does not work, so I have to reset. After that machien comes up fully configured.
Hi,
my ssh connections only breaks at the reboot before the second stage.
I set:
<mode> <confirm config:type="boolean">false</confirm> <halt config:type="boolean">false</halt> <second_stage config:type="boolean">true</second_stage> <final_reboot config:type="boolean">true</final_reboot> <forceboot config:type="boolean">true</forceboot> </mode>
Thats all.
The wicked timeout is a bug in my opinion.
Hm, i come to the same problem when I use this settings (reboot, then second stage), but I don't run into your problem - maybe its important what is to be done in 2nd stage.
