take the boot directory from the first cd and run the folowing command mkisofs -R -r -J -b boot/loader/isolinux.bin -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -no-bak -o ../suse_boot.iso . I'm not sure about 9.1, but isn't there a some kind of miniboot iso shipped with it?
Stephens, Bill {PBSG} <Bill.Stephens@pbsg.com> 09/17/04 11:55 am >>> In the 9.0 yast2 autoinstallation xml gui, there was a utility to create a stripped down bootable installation CD. That option seems to be gone from 9.1 :-<. I would like to create a stripped down CD Image. I've tried deleting the suse directory from the generic install cd 1, but then the cd won't boot due to a checksum error. How do I go about creating a stripped down bootable install CD? All my source files are on an NFS mount (probably moving to an FTP install).
Thanks, Bill
