From these documents the only solution I can find is to use the "info"-file for linuxrc. But I dont want to put anything on the boot-cd, I want to use standard CD1 and autoyast= to point it to a profile. Just as Redhat does it.
Is there another solution than DHCP/PXE or the info-file? If not, can this be added to future versions of autoyast? Regards Daniel On Wed, 2 Mar 2005, Frank Hollmann wrote:

Hi,
Im a novice with autoyast, but have used kickstart for several years.
I have install-server (http) for installing NLD9 clients. I boot the machine with CD1 of NLD9 and enter "autoyast=http://server/profiles/profile1.xml install=http://server/image/NLD9/i386" and everything works.
But, I want to embed the "install=" in the xml, is that possible? ( kickstart has url of image in the kickstart-profile )
I have tried with linuxrc but it doesnt work.
Any pointers?
Regards
Daniel
