Maybe I have an answer to your first question:
AFAIK the autoinstaller will create new partitions at the END of the disk. You mention that you have already 2 partitions at the end of the disk.... A possible solution is to do the partitioning yourself in a script and leave the disk untouched by the autoinstaller.

Hi Harry, I am Kurt, a Team member together with Ralf. You are right, our existing partitons are at the END! I thought at the end they are sure enough for creating new ones through autoyast. :=) Could you please give me a hint where I can place and call the mentioned selfmade script inside the autoyast process?
