hello everyone
i am trying to use the y2update file Anas published in the SuSE site for solving several problems.
it seems the pressed Alt key is detected during the boot process, as isolinux writes 'Update floppy' (or something like this) in the screen bottom right, and after loading kernel and initrd, y stops waiting for your (my) CDROM/floppy to be inserted in the unit.
Any way i get no proof of it is being read so (QUESTION) is there any log file or entry where it gets stated? Should i find some clues anywhere?
during installation the image is mounted as /y2update. If the mount point is there and if it has files in it, then the update is being used. Anas
thanks in advance.
