Hey Eric,
I stopped trying it, because of a lack of time.
In my oppinon, the format of the file common.pkd does matter. When I try to install, for example during the installation of the file aaa_base-xxx.rpm and some other packages there comes an error. On other packages not...
If Anas has a solution I would be very happy!
The thing is, for 8.0 it is very difficult to provide the original tools used for creating these files. These scripts rely heavily on internal databases which contain external (no rpm) package data. For 8.1, which should be available by now, we have included a script to do this. Format has changed and it is much more powerfull. I am trying currently to make these script work stand-alone. Otherwise, you can use the script provided by Christian Stoltze :) Anas P.S. The script provided by Christian does not generate all needed data. I will provide the data missing ASAP.
Regards Thorsten
