output of autoyast

Does autoyast print its output to /dev/console? I tested autoyast in two cases: Firstly, I gave the kernel parameters "console=tty1,console=ttyS0". As the kernel document, kernel would assign /dev/ttyS0 as /dev/console. The autoyast printed the output on ttyS0. Secondly, I gave the kernel parameters "console=ttyS0,console=tty1". In this cases, /dev/console should be /dev/tty1. But the autoyast still printed the output on ttyS0. Who can tell me why?
