The runlevel is set in the first phase of the installation. Check the logfile of yast2 for the phrase: "setting default runlevel to 5" Do you actually configure x11 in the control file? Anas Petros.Stavrakakis@br-automation.com wrote:
Hello,
I'm using the AutoYast-Mechanism to create Custom-CD`s. The CD`s work like a charm, but a little problem with the configuration of the Runlevel occurs.
It`s absolutely irrelevant which Runlevel i select in the Configuration-Gui, the Linux-System starts up with Runlevel 5. In the AutoYast of SuSE 8.1 the problem did not occur. But I need runlevel 3 as i don`t want somone to login into X before a certain Installation of Software is done. Exactly-> I patch the passwd, so that if I login as root a Script is triggered which demands a CD to install other Software. I tried to use scripts to change the Runlevel in the Chroot-Environment and in the Post-Install. The Scripts are working.-> logfiles. I think that the Runlevel is written in the second part of the Installation (Post-Install)after the Reboot.
Does someone has the same problem or a solution for that problem.
