depending on your situation I would better use the encrypted alternative since anyone who has access to the installation process can read the autoyast file and thus the password. To use encryption, you set the "encrypted" element to true and copy the password field (from /etc/passwd resp. /etc/shadow) of a user with the specified password to the "user_password" element.
