$PATH during installation

Hello, I've added some HP rpms to a custom installdisk. The postinstallscripts HP worte require $PATH to be set because they don't use absolut Paths ("touch /file" instead of "/bin/touch /file") to the commands. Any chance to have $PATH during installation? regards Thomas
