From a recent thread I found that I can modify autoyast.xml in /tmp/profile through pre-script and save it as /tmp/profile/modified.xml so that autoyast re-reads the modified information (dynamically generated partition info). Will this technique work for SLES9 autoinstall?
yes
I found a reference to this only in the SLES10 autoinstall manual.
I've documented that after SLES9 was out but it already worked in SLES9. If that would be a SLES10 feature, I would have mentioned it so in the documentation. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany e-mail: uwe.gansert@suse.de, Tel: +49-(0)911-74053-0, Fax: +49-(0)911-74053-476, Web: http://www.suse.de
