Hi,
is there any tool to create an own CD with only needed packages? I want to create one bootable CD for autoinstallation with a minmal system and a few extra packages from CD two, three and four. I don't like to wait until SuSE8.1 is published. ;-)
No tool for that.. That should be fairly easy: - Put all the packages you want in one directory structure maintaining the directory layout of the CDs, i.e. package groups and other files - in suse/setup/descr you will find the package database, common.pkd, which tells yast2 where every package is located on the CD and on which CD, you have to change all CD numbers to 1, in the documentation it's explained how to do that. - create the ISO using mkisfs using the options described here on the list. Anas
Thanks for help Chris
