Values for base and addon keys

Greetings, Where do I find out what are the valid values for the base and addon keys in the autoinst.xml file? I keep getting errors in my software configuration section of the install and am trying to strip it down to bare-bolts and work my way back up! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
