How do I define an online update repository within the control file ? in the XML file you can specifiy it as a simple add-on
In my autoyast xml file I have an add-on with the updates directory of opensuse and after installation when I go to yast -> online updates configuration in the update repository it says: Current update repository: none
I take out the updates site with the edit software repositories and then register for support to add it back again but I'm still in the same situation.
When I try to set it up from autoyast, when i go to software->online updates->edit nothing happens.
Are those just cosmetic problems or updates won't work? There doesn't seem to be any updates available since my last install so I can't tell at the moment.
I think it is cosmetic as long there is an update server in the xml file. It seems you also have to add the <suse-register> section as well to make it work. Not sure with this part. I'd like to know how 11.1 is evaluating the online update server while I add multiple update servers in the xml file add-on section. 11.1 seems to be a bit rushed with some yast2 UI errors. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org
