Have anybody an idee what can be go wrog?
As i have experince by myself the tg3 driver needs the netwait option because it initialization time is to long for yast. So the option ' netwait=5 ' should do the trick. Since for you it does not work and your command line is pretty long i assume that the command line IS to long. Again - this happens to me also in the beginning Solution: Put all static stuff into the /info file and the rest on the command line Currently my info file looks like: textmode: 1 insmod: ext3 language: en_US instmode: nfs netdevice: eth0 netwait: 5 netmask: 255.255.0.0 broadcast: 10.11.255.255 gateway: 10.11.0.1 server: 10.11.0.225 serverdir: /export/suse/9.3/x86 domain: my.domain autoyast: nfs://10.11.0.225/export/suse/9.3/autoinstall/ On the command line i just issue hostname=.... hostip=.... Documentation about autoyast - its a MUST to read can be found at Uwe's website http://www.suse.de/~ug/autoyast_doc/index.html hth Hajo
