From a recent thread I found that I can modify autoyast.xml in /tmp/profile through pre-script and save it as /tmp/profile/modified.xml so that autoyast re-reads the modified information (dynamically generated partition info). Will this technique work for SLES9 autoinstall?
Would you happen to have a link to some doco on this feature?
http://www.suse.de/~ug/autoyast_doc/createprofile.scripts.html#pre-install.s... Hm. While reading it again, I found a bug in the documentation. You can find your profile in "/tmp/profile/autoinst.xml" not in "/tmp/profile/PROFILENAME.xml" like documented. I'll fix the documentation soon. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany e-mail: uwe.gansert@suse.de, Tel: +49-(0)911-74053-0, Fax: +49-(0)911-74053-476, Web: http://www.suse.de
