self installing DVD

Hi ! I have a working autoyast for Suse9.1. I would now like to make a "self-installing-DVD" which should be 100% automated. I am thinking of two methods: 1) A bootable DVD which starts autoyast (with repository on the same DVD). 2) A bootable DVD which partitions the HD and then 'dd' form the DVD to the HD. Has anybody done something similar ? Br / Jan Terje
