wireless NIC/DSL

Hi, I discovered that Suse named wireless NIC wlanX instead ethX. This it's ok but the problem is that DSL YAST module doesn't give me the possibility to use wireless NIC to connect DSL modem. With Any other distributions is possible to use wireless PCMCIA because any NIC PCMCIA is named ethX Any ideas ? Thanks Andrea
