Hey, I had to increase dhcptimeout setting and also to specify which network interface to use, for this to start working: dhcptimeout=180 netdevice=eth0 Regards, Emils 2006/7/21, André Hirschi <ahirschi@visonys.com>:
Good afternoon
I'm currently setting up my config file for the autoinstall. Everything works fine, except for one thing.
I always get the pop up if I want to use DHCP or not. "Automatic configuration via DHCP?" Yes, I want! But I'd like to have this set automatically. If I choose yes it continues until the installation is done, without any further problems.
I tried adding the parameters DHCP=1, UseDHCP=1. Both at the same time and one without the other. Then I get the message that there was no network interface found, so I thought it might help if I add "insmod=tg3" to the parameters. No luck though.
What do I have to do to use DHCP without the setup asking?
Thanks in advance. André
