Hi Anas I went through the doc. According to the doc, we require to setup BootP/DHCP and tftp servers. But in my current setup we have a netware server as dhcp server and I have configured tftp on suse 8.2 linux server. I don't know how to proceed. Is it possible to create a boot disk and a configuration file which gives information of NFS server, from where to get the IP (i.e., specifying the DHCP Server IP), hostname, router ..... I Have created 3 floppies according to the readme doc bootdisk.img modules1 modules3 (for network modules) Thanks and Regards Umesh

And docuemntation for 9.0 contains much more detailed info about network installation: http://www.suse.de/~nashif/autoinstall/9.0/html/bootmanagement.html Anas Alfred Isele wrote:

Does anyone know of a good site with a step-by-step how-to on doing
an
automated network boot install with SuSe? I've found information on
how a
tftp server is required as well as a dhcp server. I'm not sure how to integrate everything together though.
thanks marshall
