I don't understand that. Are you talking about the autoyast config UI?
Yes, that wasn't very clear. In the autoyast config UI i can add any software that i can add on the server itself. It's a little confusing to me, i was expecting not to be able to add any software without adding repositories but since i set some on the server when i create my selection for the autoyast configuration file i have access to everything implicitly. I think that if i add a repos on the server, the autoyast config ui will use it (even if i don't have a repos section). However if i don't add the repos it will fail at install time. Also i think that if i add a repos in the autoyast config ui it gets added to the server; is that true or just my imagination?
yes, that's true. I admit, that is not so nice. I should rethink the design of the software module some day. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Business: http://www.suse.de/~ug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org
