All, Is there any existing documentation on performing SuSE installs via HTTP? I've tried setting up a media repository in the same fashion as described for NFS installs and have yet to get it working. The same repository layout works beautifully when actually used via NFS. In case there is no documentation available - The HTTP installation is failing with a "Error while configuring software selections. Please try again" message dialogue. HTTP traffic for the failed attempt was as follows: http://server/SLES80/boot/root http://server/SLES80/content http://server/SLES80/media.1/info.txt http://server/SLES80/media.1/products http://server/SLES80/media.1/media http://server/SLES80/SuSE-Linux-SLES-i386/CD1/content http://server/SLES80/media.1/media http://server/SLES80/UnitedLinux-i386/CD1/content http://server/SLES80/SuSE-Linux-SLES-i386/CD1/suse/setup/descr/packages* http://server/SLES80/SuSE-Linux-SLES-i386/CD1/suse/setup/descr/*.sel http://server/SLES80/UnitedLinux-i386/CD1/UnitedLinux/setup/descr/packages* http://server/SLES80/UnitedLinux-i386/CD1/UnitedLinux/setup/descr/selections http://server/SLES80/UnitedLinux-i386/CD1/UnitedLinux/setup/descr/*.sel http://server/SLES80/media.1/media http://server/SLES80/yast/order http://server/SLES80/yast/instorder http://server/SLES80/yast/sles8/content http://server/SLES80/yast/ul/content Due to the multiple occurrances of the "media.1/media" file I am currently under the impression that I am going to need to tweak the various "content" and "product" files to coerce the installer to do what I intend. Any hints or suggestions before I head down this path? Thanks in advance, -- Mike Cumings
