Hallo,
what is the best way to manage and install own rpm-collections. My idea: 1) saving the rpms in an own repo 2) adding this repo while autoyast is installing the system 3) installing the packages after the basic-system is ready using a script
Create your own package repository and then you can add it with yast or zypper and use said tools for managing those packages. If you have an install server create a file called add_on_products in the base directory of the installation source which points to your other repositories. add_on_products: http://192.168.0.100/suse/10.3/updates http://192.168.0.100/suse/10.3/non-oss http://192.168.0.100/suse/10.3/my-repo -- Darin Perusich Unix Systems Administrator Cognigen Corporation 395 Youngs Rd.
