Hello admins,
Is there anyone who has experience in installing a NIS-Server by
autoinstallation?
Suse Docu suggests this new feature for 8.2 and "yast2 autoyast"
generates a suitable XML-File.
But I don't succeed using the following part in XML-File:
<nis>
zam558_NIS
134.94.172.244
true
true
</nis>
<domain>zam558-NIS</domain>
netgrp
false
false
<nopush config:type="boolean">true</nopush>
false
false
/etc
<securenets config:type="list">
<securenet>
<netmask>255.255.248.0</netmask>
<network>134.94.168.0</network>
</securenet>
</securenets>
<slaves config:type="list"/>
false
false
true>
<runlevels>
<default>5</default>
<services config:type="list">
<service>
autofs
3 5
</service>
<service>
xntpd
3 5
</service>
<service>
ypbind
3 5
</service>
<service>
ypserv
3 5
</service>
<service>
yppasswdd
3 5
</service>
<service>
ypxfrd
3 5
</service>
</services>
</runlevels>
-->>>>>>>>
/etc/defaultdomain is okay
yp-processes are running
but
the NIS-server is not initialized
no directory /var/yp/`domainname`
no updated file /var/yp/securenets
Thanks
