Hi,
/var/log/YaST2/ - that's what I was looking for. I'm still struggling how to get the input of "y2log" shown on the display, because the commands on the shell after the installation has aborted are rather poor (no vi, vim, mc ...).
what's wrong with more and grep? ;) You can pass "loghost=your.log.host" to linuxrc to activate remote logging. syslog on your.log.host has to accept log messages from the network of course ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Business: http://www.suse.de/~ug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org
