[opensuse-artwork] GSoC Poster
Hi, One of my friends came up with this poster for promoting Google Summer of Code at various LUG's. I think it can be used with the posters made by Victor for promotion at events and distribution to LUG's. Reviews welcome ;) http://wstaw.org/m/2013/01/09/735205_505662756144876_1899564841_n.jpg -- Regards,. Thank you for sharing and thanks to Soumyadeep Mukherjee for effort put in poster creation :) IMHO, poster is too busy, in other words too many things are dropped in GSoC with split with borders (it could be one), Medical, Connect, Factory, OBS, Linux Pingu. It is hard to catch all what is mentioned and to sort out what belongs to whom. The best part of idea is background, with code in the sand. It could be just me, as I would like to have all stuff sorted in columns, like few posters printed next to each other, or it could be age and cultural difference (maybe that will work for intended public - students). It would be easier to rearrange and post reply as graphic if there will be SVG (scalable vector graphics), or GIMP XCF file with layered parts of image, available; with jpeg such thing is very hard to do. d -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
I will forward the comments to him now, and he will be happy to make the improvements ;) On Fri, Jan 11, 2013 at 9:54 AM, Rajko <rmatov101@charter.net> wrote:
