I really like where this is going. Very "open up your mind to the possibilities." I think it could be worked on, maybe make the text more wild, as in "this is so wild, you have to open up your mind to appreciate it."

I very much like the sleeve design. (Note that it will cost Jos more to have design imprint on more than one area of a t-shirt.) I'm unsure if I would wear this as an everyday shirt. Plant life on a t-shirt is a bit too girly for me (no offense to the women on this list.) However, I see this as an AWESOME Ambassador shirt for people to wear at the booth. Distinctive, yet not in your face. Subtle, yet curious enough to make someone look at it more closely and notice the beloved Geeko. This would totally rock as an exclusive shirt that you have to earn by contributing to openSUSE promotion at events. Victor, I like this one you did. Very cool ideas! Totally "out of the box". How do you think it would look with just openSUSE on the fron with the head and lock graphic and the rest on the back? (just a thought). http://paste.opensuse.org/92085062 and MFox, I love this shirt design you came up with, this would look cool on a charcoal grey similar to the default desktop. I would heed what Bryan says about the printing and maybe think about openSUSE on the right breast pocket area or a geeko there. http://mfoxdogg.com/opensuse/male_shirt_design_01.png Now my feeling is these are pretty good designs that people would be willing to sport around. Would making them available through the Spreadshirt store an option? On Sun, Jan 27, 2013 at 6:55 PM, Bryen M Yunashko <suserocks@bryen.com> wrote:

You can have umpteen designs to upload to any of these online shops to sell, and certainly that should be the case. But, keep in mind, Jos is looking for designs to print for giveaways. So, in Jos's case, economy does matter. He sends a pile of them to be given away at conferences and at our own openSUSE events. For Michael's design, I really DO like the placement of the sleeve design. I think moving it to another location would lessen its impact. It's very much like sporting a tattoo, in a way. And I re-iterate what I suggested before. Use Michael's design exclusively for Ambassadors (and speakers.) Jos would print only a limited supply, say 100-200. That gives him a little more flexibility to have multiple-placement designs and even multiple color designs. I really think this is perfect for an Ambassador uniform type shirt. So think both: Design for sale on online shops and design for Jos to print. Either have one design in both scenarios or make Jos's giveaway design exclusive that you can only get it if you show up to an openSUSE event/booth. That'll increase the collectibility of the shirt as well. Bryen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

Sadly, it's hard to print objects on shirts till the shirt edges. And even the printing on the upper arm would mean extra costs. Besides that, the idea is very nice. There are no real specs for tshirt design in svg. There are just a few limitations in printing. To verify, we could try to upload the design to a printing company like spreadshirt and check if it's possible to print these elements.
