[opensuse-artwork] Release Coordinator
Upon reading an email from Bethancourt asking for having a release coordinator, I am wondering if there is anyone on the artwork team who can step up to this position? I know that time and effort can be tight for this, but if no one takes the position, I can do it. Please make yourself part of this cool release process. Looks like Andy is "The Man"!
So now, what needs to get done and lets get on it? We have 12 days to
get this bird flying.

In my opinion, we shouldn't be worrying about this right now. Andi, do what you did well for 12.2. You coordinated things at the start of 12.2 development and artwork was blooming very early on. Simultaneously, take the lessons you've learned from this past cycle and add it to the next cycle. For right now, we should be focusing more on what needs to be done in the next few days and quickly pull up volunteers to get it done. The fact that we are missing some important items that will help to promote everything going on in the next two months (see my other thread) is of utmost concern and needs to be crossed off the checklist before moving on back into organizational processes of artwork management. I'm just excited to be a part of the next release!
Being a "noob" to everything that is involved with promoting a
release, I find it an opportunity to work with teams and be involved
in something very exciting. I look forward to communication and
collaboration over the next few days.

I agree completely. After just the few weeks I have participated in the community Andi has proven to be competent, helpful, and experienced. I think we should work on this release and toward the next release and get our processes and team-work up to full steam and worry about the further release(s) in due time. -- Ken-- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
