Hi, I'm not aware of such but it's rather nice. I've made some for Fedora 13 but not many people interested in it, but then again, it's always nice to have around. Nelson. 2010/8/27 S.Kemter <buergermeister@karl-tux-stadt.de>:

lightscribe is a special cd type that allow writing with the cd writer laser on the other cd face. I have to say I never used it, because I never yet had to write demo cd. http://www.lightscribe.com/downloadSection/linux/index.aspx shows a Linux version. I didn't install it so I don't know the licence, but the *hardware* system licence is by Hewlett-Packerd and HP is known to be linux friendly There also a Lacie software said to be k3b friendly (and is referenced on the k3b weeb site http://k3b.plainblack.com/download#7Us5qahotyZ7H6bXbWiTaQ) http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10803 see also http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/118705 and wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightscribe on my experience, the writing is done on silver like surface and is barely visible. No color, only outlines the main advantage of lightscribe is that there is no balancing problem with the cd, so the design can be very simple if speed is important thanks jdd -- Jean-Daniel Dodin Président du CULTe www.culte.org http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1412160445 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+help@opensuse.org
