[opensuse-artwork] Some wallpapers
Hi all, I wanted to share some wallpapers that we made. We did them just for "fun" and hope you like them. Some are made in Photoshop and some in Inkscape. In any case we export any size needed if anyone is interested. These are just some of ideas we had, some based on the current colors that we used for print materials and some totally different. Take a look and let us know what you think. http://paste.opensuse.org/32539907 http://paste.opensuse.org/7906518 http://paste.opensuse.org/80270547 http://paste.opensuse.org/5732016 -- http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Zvezdana, I really, really like this one http://paste.opensuse.org/5732016 , really really clean and yet more exciting than a gradient (sorry guys working on that gradient based design..) http://paste.opensuse.org/80270547 has a lot of potential to me..I'm just not sure about the logo..maybe something more 'smooth'? like a solid metal geeko? I like the other two too - http://paste.opensuse.org/7906518 reminds me of a revamped openSUSE 11.4 wallpaper and http://paste.opensuse.org/32539907 is the kind of background I wanted for my twitter feed for the longest time....but the first two really stand out to me - Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

I also like this one, although it has to be tweaked a bit. Maybe we could try it with the new color scheme, too. Besides that, could you please provide the svg sources, so we can work further on it? Greets Marcus

Here is the svg file: http://paste.opensuse.org/72654304 As for the colors I would just add that we used two colors from color palette for print material, first and last "shape" are "default" colors from palette and everything in between is blend of these two colors. Off course it can be combination of any two colors from the palette. For other wallpapers at the moment we can offer only png since they are made in Photoshop. -- http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

By the way, has it been decided which wallpaper will be the default? Also, has there been work done on the alternative wallpapers collection? -- Andy (anditosan) anditosan.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
There could be a contest organized via the Flickr's openSUSE community? Quoting Andres Silva <anditosan1000@gmail.com>:
