I think we can start integrating number 4. Where's the svg?
We need it in the following resolutions: I think we should start with a short poll. Voting starts now and ends tomorrow at 18.00 CET
Everyone can add a +1 below his/her favourite concept (and only one please :).
This is where everyone who is interested in could take part (even non artists :))
So lets go ahead

Hi all. As we seem to tend to use a blue wallpaper this time, I would like to propose NOT to use Sonar anymore. Imho, Sonar was never really beautiful, It's way to dark and has some strange colors. I would rather like to stick with the GNOME 3 default theme which is Adwaita. This one is compatible with nearly every design. Greets Marcus PS: I know Vincent likes Sonar a lot, but I think he could also live with Adwaita (listening to his GNOME heart :)) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+help@opensuse.org
I'm not the one to speak on behalf of the openSUSE GNOME, but this was
discussed previously on a GNOME Team meeting, and we considered the
option of changing default branding as long as the maintainer would
keep maintaining the package (due to potential G3 changes).
I'm not sure if people are aware, but 'Half-Left' has been working
closely with us to provide a full Sonar theme (GNOME Shell and GTK3).
Most people I've seen are thrilled with this, and it's a new life in
the GNOME channel.
Previously Vincent has requested for someone to port Sonar and use
it... Now that's it's done people want to bail out ?
I trully don't understand this... This shouldn't be decided on
ARTWORK, but instead with the GNOME Team, this is not the right
channel to override decisions and thoughts from the GNOME team people.

I part-wise agree. I know the history and even Vincents request. I also know half-lefts work and honour it. The problem with Sonor is that it really limits the design. So this is of course an artwork issue, too. I hope we could find a solution, together.
