[opensuse-artwork] Branding

What is branding? Going over the list that needed to be done for this last release I see requests to have branding done. What is it and how does it get done? -- God bless ! Branding is the artwork for the distribution. Think about splash screens, bootup sequence, grub artwork and more. It's the main task of the artwork time (besides creating promo artwork) and it is always very hard to get it done in time because it is a technical and difficult job ;-)

Hi Branding is almost everything!! The screen that you see when the PC is starting, the installer, KDM, etc. etc...and in the other desktop managers like Gnome, or Xfce... The flavor of the new release! a lot of work that is made for a few people with many work, and a good taste! In the last Hackathon I knew the great work that make guys like Richard or Bruno (among other hackers, of course!) that make every new release of openSUSE a really cool distro! Thank guys for your work!! Bye! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
