[opensuse-artwork] Artwork for shirt
Hello, I am helping co-run the openSUSE booth at ScaLE this year, and we are wanting to have shirts made that we can raffle off. Included is a link to the concept I have for the shirts. Basicly its the openSUSE logo, and just above it is the motto 'Have a lot of Fun". Now these are technically two separate items just placed close together, I wanted to find out if this can be used, or if I will need to get approval from SUSE. http://www.ooshirts.com/designapp/sharing/1084077764 Sorry for the cross posting Thank you Daniel Hodges openSUSE Advocate -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

I think the idea is great. "Have a lot of fun" is an interesting part of SUSE history which is easy to like. I'd suggest putting that on the back of the t-shirt and just the logo where you placed it (I know this will make the shirt more expensive) or perhaps leaving the chameleon out and just printing openSUSE large in the middle of the front and "Have a lot of fun" on the back (again, more expensive but overloading the front of the shirt would be bad). Just my two cents - don't take my suse email to mean anything official. I'm just sitting at home trying to help where I can in my free time. -- Kenneth Wimer SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
Thank you for your Idea, currently I have the logo and motto on both the front and the back. On Wed, Jan 29, 2014 at 11:48 AM, Kenneth Wimer <wimer@suse.de> wrote:

Like Kenneth's advise .. I don't know on t-shirt how it works, but if you like to have more stuf use a qrcode (with just opensuse.org) -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

For the money, make a t-shirt which the audience wants to wear every day, not just to prove they are a geek :-) When will this be printed/when is ScaLE?

Then you still have enough time to spend a day or two to review your ideas. I'd assume it takes at least 7-9 days to get them printed and delivered.

Why don't you guys buy (fix, re-design, design) shirts from (in) the openSUSE shop? :) http://shop.opensuse.org/index-us.html I can give you access to it. I can give you access to it. The prices are REALLY high there. Printing something locally could/would be much cheaper.
In addition you cannot choose which design to use - the proposed and suggested versions are not available. -- Kenneth Wimer SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

I think I agree that shopping around locally might be worth a day or two. Danial, maybe we should look up some places here locally in LA and see what prices we can get -- maybe we can find a better deal, and if not... at least we tried and we have this place as our backup plan. -- Drew Adams Member & Advocate, openSUSE Project -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
I have called around to over a dozen different shops and checked dozens of other websites, and so far this place is the best price. Some places you might get a lower shirt price, but only if you order in very HIGH qty. On Thu, Jan 30, 2014 at 8:41 PM, Drew Adams <druonysus@gmail.com> wrote:
