as mentioned earlier, Richard and I are working on a concept proposal for 12.3. It's called grow (because together we grow ;)).

It is meant to be used with the new 'produkt'-based KDE Plasma theme, created by shumski, tittiatcoke and others, but also works well with other DEs like GNOME or Xfce.
