The graphics look really nice, but they go a certain 'kde way'... of course they are meant perfectly to fit the KDE installation. BUT: we also ship gnome,xfce,<other DE> on the disks and they should not look completely out of place once the installation is completed.
Maybe having a KDE theme, a gnome theme, and depending on what default DE is selected applying? The bad thing is: this would double the effort for having good themes that always fit.
