attached is the svg of a wallpaper using my proposal, im am mailing it here for discussion and perhaps somone can commit it to git as an alternative and to be altered as needed, also attached is a screen shot of the wallpaper in use along with andi's 'pure' kde theme. and a testing of a splash with the design and colours (I know the font sucks) the key point of my design. - i went with the growing theme, as I like the theme - used subtle complimentary colours to softenup the white so it doesnt hurt the eyes - used a clear and concise design, showing we are indeed growing with our community as its leaves in the many uses of openSUSE. - tried to make it not distracting as possible and fitting to the lighter theme as possible. - not to much detail, yet plenty of meanings - tried to make its possible to use in headers and splashes easily - need many subtle adjustments, I’ll admit to that so here is my proposal in action so it can truly be considered for future releases, hope someone likes it :)
