Isn't oxygen completely changing for the next plasma release? Yes, modifying the existing oxygen theme is a good idea, making things from scratch would be a pain. Quoting Marguerite Su <i@marguerite.su>:
Hi, ushamim,
Technically it's easy to get it done (Personally I can gurantee, well, less than a day's work for KDE). And it's an one time job (Oxygen upstream hasn't changed their folder icons for some time) so we don't need too much maintenance.
But: if I do the job, I need an openSUSE wallpaper to

Hello all,
I dont know if it has been brought up before but why not have some openSUSE themed icons for the default theme? I know its a lot of work (if I was talented enough to make them, believe me I would) but I think it would be great if the defaults were green instead of the oxygen blue which clashes with the theme.
For example the folder icons in the oxygen theme are a blue while the rest of the theme make everything green so they stick out in a bad way.
I was just wondering what you guys thought about the idea.
