Hi all !!
I have made a new draft for the banner after de 5th of December, that will be when the elections will start... you can check it out here: - http://paste.opensuse.org/29331071
bye...
Another draft for that day: - http://paste.opensuse.org/77036399
Bye!!
I am liking this second one very much. It adds a bit of mystery that will hopefully generate good attention and chatter out there about the elections.
I'd like to recommend changing the background though. It is too similar to the current one we are using and people might not notice the change when we update the banners next week around the web.
I'd go for a darker, more mysterious (but not scary) color (whatever that is.) Something that draws people in and they feel the need to click on the banner and learn more about what's happening in openSUSE Project. It should be suspenseful because that's exactly the feeling that happens in any election.
Also, size is a challenge on the current banner. Can we make something that fits 850x315px? (That's facebook timeline cover size) and should work well for the other sites. We reduced the size of the current banners and that degraded some quality. (Sorry!) :-)
Many thanks Victorhck!

here's a new draft for banner: http://paste.opensuse.org/82312094
with red background and a invitation to vote!
Could we agree to use the official Bento colors?
Alternatively you can make use of elements of the current release artwork, but imho for things like that it's better to have something more generic. Greets Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
