Actually, the version mocked up is 'wrong' - Manuele has been working on a new version but he's away for a few days..this conversation hasn't come up at a great time for him to talk about this.. but, I don't see the point of restarting the process of revamping when we already have a working proposal
We all agree the current design is bad and needs at least a recolour We have a proposal that's wayyyyyyyyyyy more effective than just a recolour Why not use it and make it better?
That is certainly a better idea, and i would be happier if that went ahead, I was unaware of active work on a new version, and until now no one had said the new proposal was being actively developed until now. Realistically I don't have the time to bring the current proposal up to scratch but if someone else is actively working on it then thats great and theres no need to do the recolor. To put some perspective on effort and time, I only spent around 2 hrs doing the recolor while i had young kids running around. Once the new front page is done i'm happy to help get the wiki, forums etc, Matching.
