Well, there are descriptions of people putting ubuntu on it, so you can replace android by garbage.

It looks feasibly, although not outright easy. It seems it is a MK808 based device, so it could be easily enabled via my sunxi devel project, which has device tree's available for mk802 at least (I would hope that mk808 is compatible with that, the googleable postings that you can find there seems to indicate that). I'm willing to help you create a bootable image, but please expect that this will take at least a few days of trial and error.
