[opensuse-arm] How to change the display resolution.
Hi I installed openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-LXQT-raspberrypi3.armv7l.raw on my Pi3. System works well. I connect this Pi3 to Panasonic LCD display (1960x1024). But the resolution is 800x400. I run display settings. But I can’t change the resolution. So could you tell me how to change the display resolution? Regards. I suppose you could try xrandr or its GUI frontend arandr to do that. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
You need to pass frame-buffer width and height to kernel cmdline The following thread helps you: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-arm/2016-03/msg00157.html Here is also how to specify resolution and write to boot loader script: https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Raspberry_Pi#Known_Issues_with_Tumbleweed_.28ups...
