[opensuse-arm] openSUSE 13.1 for ARM
Hi, I've removed the "bootstrap-only" paths from openSUSE:13.1 for the ports repository, so now we have the "real" state of affairs visible on OBS: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:13.1 and to be honest, it doesn't look that good. many low hanging packages are failing to build (including things like gnutls, qemu, webkitgtk, java-1_7_0-openjdk, hwinfo, llvm, postfix) which are essential for either the system or for the rest of the packages to be able to build. I've isolated some of the issues and added overwrites in openSUSE:13.1:Ports/extra that I can hopefully get into openSUSE Factory and 13.1 merged soon. Thanks for this Dirk, Having a quick look at the failures on https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/openSUSE:13.1?arch_armv7l=1&defaults=0&failed=1&repo_ports=1 both Firefox and Thunderbird need builders with 4GB RAM (even if it's a swapfile). Are you able to assign them to one? I can do that, but we first need to fix the lower hanging packages in order to have a complete build. Firefox is an important package but it is entirely leaf to the distribution. What I tried to say is: Fixing those bugs that need a source modification (rather than just a fix to the worker) is much more urgent than those worker-memory-issues. Getting a single one character change to fix a build into 13.1 tree can easily take 2-3 weeks of time in various reviews, checks, delays and similar, and we don't have that many weeks left anymore.
