[opensuse-arm] No more armv7hl anymore in openSUSE:Factory:ARM ?
All, I don't see the armv7hl build anymore in openSUSE:Factory:ARM. I hope it doesn't mean that we won't build armv7hl anymore? Regards, Joop. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

There is no CPU which is called armv7hl. All armv7l CPUs do support hardware floating point. armv7hl was a mix of hardware cpu and ABI of the OS, therefore it is gone.

armv7l is compiled with hardfp right i.e. the same options as the old armv7hl build? So only the name changed? I don't don't mind the name. I prefer the hardfp option.

We are still building for armv7, it is renamed to amrv7l. So now you now need to use: osc build --no-verify --alternative-project=openSUSE:Factory:ARM standard armv7l foo.spec I've updated the wiki to reflect this.
