[opensuse-arm] openSUSE-13.2-ARM-JeOS-beaglebone.armv7l-1.12.1-Build26.2.raw.xz evaluation
I installed openSUSE-13.2-ARM-JeOS-beaglebone.armv7l-1.12.1-Build26.2.raw.xz on a Beagle Bone Black. It works except there is no HDMI output. The ncurses yast part of the installation was removed. (Probably for the better!) A previous version had an issue with the reboot command. Not with the initial installation, but after a zypper up was done. That problem is not present in this version. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

I think I spoke too soon. I'm having issues with USB. I can't get the port to see any devices. I did a "zypper in usbutils" and ran lsusb. It only see two devices no matter what I plug in. Hi, Thanks for your report. The issue with usb is well-known, see http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kernel/2014-10/msg00004.html But it has been fixed only in stable kernel tree, and I don't know, if the guidelines allows backporting config change to 13.2 kernel tree. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

If you want to get fixes in 13.2 tree, open a bug report and send an email to opensuse-kernel ML. Guillaume -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
