I tried to configure the wlan0 interface of my Raspberry Pi3B with YaST and wicked (WPA-PSK): everything looks ok, I cannot find any errors or warnings, bug the stats of the status is always. wicked[518]: wlan0 setup-in-progress
I found some older articles to replace two kernel modules, but this doesn't seem to be valid anymore?
Any ideas?

Try NetworkManager to see if it is a hardware or wicked issue.
nmcli dev wifi connect YOUR_SSID password YOUR_PASSWORD
